My love of vintage homeware continues and having a few things in mind for the new flat, I wanted to pop down to Lewes again to see if we could find any treasures. We managed to find an armchair for a tenner last time after all…
The first stop was Closet & Botts, which is slowly becoming a favourite shop. It’s so beautifully curated that I didn’t really know where to look first.
In order to save some pennies and not buy everything in sight, I had a small list in my head to look out for – either pieces I’ve been looking for for a while or things for the new flat. I did end up finding one of the things on my list, which was an enamel tray. Hurrah! I’ve been looking for one of these for quite some time and all I’ve ever seemed to find are enamel oven dishes. I did end up getting the matching jug and some lavender, but we don’t need to talk about that! ;-) You can check out my purchases here.
The treasure trove that is the Lewes Flea Market was the next stop. This was where we found the armchair last time we came so I had high hopes for finding a few gems. I was tempted by a few things, but since the new flat is a lot smaller, I resisted to make sure we can fit everything in that we already own! Maybe we’ll pop back when we’ve settled in to see what we can find then.
