Primrose

The last few weeks have been busier than usual at work and it’s only going to get worse for the next few months, so looking back at these pastel photos and sugary treats is helping me get through it. Sugar cravings have been on a real high this week as has the need for Spring pastels, so a visit to Primrose Bakery a few weekends ago was just what I needed! Isn’t it funny how pretty cakes and a bit of colour can instantly uplift your mood?

The little yellow fronted bakery has made me fall in love with it, with its pretty pastel colours and 50’s Diner style tables (ones which I have actually Googled because I wouldn’t mind one in my new house!) and I’m tempted to make it a Sunday morning tradition to grab a coffee and a cupcake and then walk up Primrose Hill to take in the views over London.

I’d never ventured to Primrose Hill before this and I’ve been missing out. There are so many lovely shops and cafes around and the area gives out a nice community atmosphere, not to mention the huge houses that you can so imagine living in! ;-)

Needless to say, I will be back sometime soon for another Banoffee cupcake and my fix of pastels!
