After doing my New In post last month, I thought I would start a series called Loving Lately detailing some of the things I’ve either been buying or loving lately. I hope you like it!
First up is the Leon: Naturally Fast Food Cookbook. I’d been walking past it in my local Oliver Bonas for a while, eyeing up the recipes and the crazy, colourful photography and after sampling some of the food at Leon in Kings Cross Station, I caved in and got it. Apart from a breakfast smoothie, I haven’t tried any of the recipes yet, but I’ve got a few in mind that I want to try soon.
Next up is the Mollie Makes Blogging magazine. I’d seen it floating around on instagram and online and thought I would check it out. It’s really useful if you’re setting up your own blog or if you want new ideas for your content. I’ve also been following A Beautiful Mess for nearly a year and love their articles in the magazine. Thumbs up from me! :)
For my upcoming holiday (have I told you about it yet? ;-)) I wanted a little pouch to hold all of my travel essentials and I love all of these from Alphabet Bags. I’d recently bought my friend this one for her birthday and really liked the quality and the print on the natural canvas so I got one for myself too. Nothing like a positive message to brighten up your day! ;-)
I was sent these cute pineapple earrings from Joy. You may have seen from my previous posts or instagram that I’ve been loving the fruity theme and seeing as pineapples have been everywhere this summer, I think they’re spot on! They make a fun accessory to brighten up any outfit.
A product that has been around for a long time, but is always in the bathroom cupboard is the Soap & Glory Scrub ‘Em And Leave ‘Em body exfoliator. During the summer it’s perfect to make sure legs are ready to be bared to the world sans leggings or tights. I also use it whenever I’m prepping to use fake tan, it’s the best to get those knees and elbows exfoliated so no embarrassing orange patches occur!
It might already be obvious that I have a bit of a sweet tooth, so it comes as no surprise that I love this macaron trinket box. It’s ceramic with a gold clasp and I’ve actually got two, one is sitting on my bedside table and one on my desk. They bring a little fun as well as storing your little valuables.
For parties or just because, I love a stripey paper straw. Milkshakes, smoothies or even juice are so much more fun to drink with one of these little beauties. Sometimes it’s just the simple things!
Last but not least is my vintage Fortnum & Mason hamper that I picked up at Tweseldown Artisan Market a couple of weeks ago. You can get a new one at Forntum and Mason but I quite like the vintage feel of this one. Can’t wait until I finally get round to upholstering my chair and having my hamper as a little side table.
What have you been loving lately?
