This is the outfit I wore on our day trip to Hastings, simple with a hint of nautical (this was not planned at all… ahem). The beach seemed like the perfect backdrop…

Living in London, I love the chance to be by the sea. Breathing in some sea air and looking out over the horizon is amazing and such a contrast to the busy streets of London, not that I mind that either! But every once in a while, it’s nice to get out somewhere new and not have to catch the tube!
This stripy tunic is one of my favourite things to wear. It’s simple and easy to throw on over leggings or jeans, as well as hiding a multitude of food babies! (You know how I love a good cake!) It seemed like the perfect thing to wear for an early start and a 4 hour round trip in the car, as well as mooching around. I’ve also been wearing my French Sole flats to death as you’ve probably noticed, but they’re so comfy and go with literally everything! But I promise, once the sun comes out a bit more, there are plenty of new shoes to feature as I’ve gone a bit shoe crazy over the past month!
I decided to bust my nude pink leather jacket out that I got about 2 summers ago, but as you can see, fashion really does come back around with the pinks still being the in thing. I threw on a long leopard print scarf just in case it was a bit windy, and I’m glad I did! And on my last minute shopping dash for the hen do the other week, I picked up a new necklace in Topshop for about three pounds… I couldn’t leave it there, could I?
