It’s been a bit quiet around these parts recently due to lots of sorting and painting at Paul’s parents house ready for our move after Christmas, so when George at Asda got in touch about Christmas jumpers, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to put the paint brushes down and take a bit of time out. Now that it’s December and officially Christmas, it was ok to turn that Christmas playlist on (you know you all have one! ;-), rock my new jumper and put our (mini) Christmas tree up.
I’m not going to lie, I love Christmas and I like to put the tree up as soon as possible. Paul always insists on a real tree, not that I’m complaining, and because we usually go on holiday at Christmas I like to make the most of it. This year we probably got the smallest tree possible to fit it in our living room and we were a little weary about how Dolly was going to react to it… has everyone see that Youtube video?! Luckily for us, she’s been pretty good with it so far.
It seems to be a bit of an annual tradition the last few years to get a new Christmas Jumper, so when I was choosing from George’s selection, I opted to go retro. The added sequins and 3D bells are something that I’ve yet to covet in my Christmas Jumper wardrobe so I thought it was the perfect choice and I think Dolly liked the bells too!
When putting together my Christmas Jumper outfit, I like to keep it quite simple as the jumper usually speaks volumes so a pair of black jeans and a white roll neck top to go underneath are enough. Not forgetting the Christmas socks too of course!
I will definitely be wearing my new Christmas jumper on my team’s Christmas Party night in a few weeks when we’re off to Christmas at Kew. The perfect opportunity to keep cosy and warm in my new Christmas wardrobe addition.
I’m pretty excited about all the festivities December brings!
Thank you to George at Asda for supplying me with my Christmas Jumper outfit and decorations. All opinions, Christmas excitement and the cat are my own.
