A Day In Brighton

Another day off found us nipping down to Brighton for the day. We don’t visit enough, so I had a few places stored up where I wanted to go to, Workshop Living being one of them. The simple clean design of the store and all of its products just makes me want to swoon, not to mention their beautifulย Instagramย account! The desperation of owning my own house goes up a few notches when I go into a store like this as I just want to buy everything… Got to hold off for a little while yet though!

We wandered along the lanes and then ended up in Bill’s for lunch (a standard occurrence it seems whenever we come to Brighton!) and then checked out Beyond Retro and Snoopers Paradise, where I finally bit the bullet and bought a vintage enamel bread bin that I’ve been putting off for quite a while.

A few of the other shops we nipped into were Utility and Bert’s Homestore before heading along to the Pier…

We had a little wander along the Pier, taking in the views of the beach and the sea, with the smell of candy floss wafting through the air, but I’d heard about The Creperieย so we decided to walk back along the sea front to find it. It didn’t disappoint and I went away happy as Larry with a Nutella & Strawberry crepe.

I think we’ll be back to trawl through more vintage, stock up on utilitarian homewares and take away delicious crepes pretty soon!
